We returned from Guatemala and jumped right into fundraising for our projects by organizing a tamale sale!! Project Quetzal had its first Tamale Sale on 2/18/19. Maricela and her daughters worked very hard and made 3 kinds of tamales. They were delicious, and everyone wants more! We sold 47 dozen tamales!!! We visited all 4 of our projects during October and November, and we are happy to report back that they have all been very successful! The preschool program has several students that are ready to go to 1st grade in January.
